I guess everybody with younger siblings has already been in this situation, were you only have this one urgent wish; to be an only child. But in the end you\u2019re glad you have them am I right? In this article you will read about some of the negative aspects, but mainly of the positive ones of having younger brothers and sisters. And I actually want you to understand how grateful you can be to just have siblings. But before I start, I want you to be aware of the fact that I myself am the eldest of four children, so I really know what I am talking about \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Growing up in a big family improves your social skills dramatically. For example, you automatically learn to think of others too, instead of only thinking of yourself. You also learn how to be patient, a very important trait. Being able to wait for something is something that only few people are able to, and you definitely learn it by having siblings, no matter whether they are older or younger.<\/p>\n

I think all of you out there, older brother or older sisters you are able to take care of young children quite well. And you can also make use of your skills, you can go babysitting!<\/p>\n

But there are not only pros for siblings, younger siblings can really be torture for us students, if we want to study in peace and we are just not able to; this is something I just have to admit.\"baby-1151351_960_720\" Especially if you have siblings that are still toddlers or even if they aren\u2019t, it will never be quiet during the day or until they are asleep. This is also the reason why for me, children are sweetest when they are sleeping, when there is finally silence. But this doesn\u2019t have to be a negative thing you could also see it another way: You are never lonely during the day, and you\u2019ve always got someone you can talk to!:)<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s once see it differently. Let\u2019s see it from the perspective of the younger brothers and sisters. For them it must be very easy as a toddler and also later, because they have always somebody they can talk to, somebody, who helps them out in difficult situations. \"brothers-457237_960_720\"And last but not least they have somebody, whom they can copy, how strange this might sound, but children tend to imitate people they know or trust, somebody they see as their role mode. So seeing it this way siblings can be quite helpful, can\u2019t they?<\/p>\n

But in the end you can\u2019t decide in which family you end up. And to be honest I really appreciate to have three younger siblings \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
