Is it important that husbands and wives have the same educational level? And should the man in a modern relationship be responsible for bringing the money home, and should the woman just be expected to cook and raise the children?<\/p>\n
Today I am going to share with you my personal thoughts about what role education plays in a relationship. First of all, I have to say that I can\u2019t think of anything more important for a woman to be very well educated and independent. All women on earth should have a good education, a high school diploma, maybe even a university degree and I think it is also very important to have a driver\u2019s license. I know that\u2019s easy to say living in a country which is virtually in the middle of Europe and being used to nothing other than these standards. Of course, I have to consider that not in every country do the women have the possibility to go to school, but I also know that slowly, but surely, girls all around the world are beginning to enjoy the pleasure of education. Unfortunately, this process will take a while. To all the women in countries with great education standards: don\u2019t be silly or lazy and waste your educational opportunities, rather take the chance to become an independent and strong woman!<\/p>\n
Let\u2019s come to the point where we discuss how this plays an important role in a relationship. We all know that men and women are equal and that they should be treated exactly the same way. If your boyfriend is a lot more educated than you, at first you\u2019ll maybe be blinded by love and you will think that it doesn\u2019t matter, that man would never leave you. For the first couple of years it will probably work out perfectly and you will be happy with your children, but I can assure you that at some point in your life you will feel less useful and maybe even less worthy. You will sit at home and ask yourself when is my husband going to come home, you will cook for him and all these kind of things, but at least for myself, I can say that I wouldn\u2019t be happy. Unless your husband is Prince Charming who just jumped out of a fairy tale, he will notice that you depend on him and sooner or later he will think of you in a different way. The important point here is that completely depending on a person is the worst thing to do. Sharing your life should be the motto, not being dependent. I mean, what if he suddenly dies, or gets sick? Who will bring the money home? Definitely not a woman without a college degree.<\/p>\n
So I am begging you ladies! Think bigger than just being a housewife for your whole life, because only a strong, independent woman survives these modern days.<\/p>\n
Even Nelson Mandela pointed out that education is the most powerful weapon in this world, so please, men and women, if you have the opportunity to get educated, take it.
